To avoid switching back from the cli terminal to the script to continue with networking setting, it would be better to run the container in daemon mode, set networking parameters and only then attach a console to the running container.
This will avoid relying on LXTerminal.

Removed dependency for LXTerminal: detect current terminal and use it to open new window with an interactive terminal to the running container.
