Special handling needed for fields containing line breaks

Some fields, such as "notes", are likely to contain line breaks. Field values with line breaks need to be wrapped as in order to be properly parseable.

I'm using xq for validation, eg., icalPal -o xml | xq.

Is there another parser, or options to xq, that better replicate what you're doing?
