Hi !
This is an incredible work that you did there ! So, I feel bad to complain about something...
Anyway, using spotyxbmc2 together with a remote (Constellation on iOS, XbmcRemote on android) will lead to not seeing the spotify albums or artists in the remote libraries.
I've read one of your post somewhere that explained that the aim of this rewrite was to integrate fully with the library... So maybe this should be handled by the remote apps in a different way ?
Do you recognize this as a spotyxbmc bug, or would you advise any other way to remotely access the library ?

Thanks!

I am very interested in this as well. I would love to contribute here, but I don't know anything about how the android app accesses the database. I think it uses the standard web interface. If that is the case: What would be the steps to integrate spotify into the webinterface?

the GetAlbums method of the json API has already been modified to return spotify albums.
The default web interface has also been modified and should show all your "starred" albums.
To have compatible remote apps they indeed also have to be modified.

Any news on this issue? I have been searching all web for an android remote that can do this.
