Started happening today, using latest ver of atom and git-plus, Ubuntu 15.10

error in console:
Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: message.includes is not a function(…)(anonymous function) @ git-commit.coffee:89

reinstalling plugin didn't solve the issue

ok, it was because of a missing commit.template file. Maybe it would be a good idea to handle this case?
