If I use the command "commit" more than once, without closing the newly opened window for entering the commit message, I get two (three, four...) windows open, all prompting me to enter a commit message. If I open more than one window on accident, I usually want to close one of them and enter my message in the other. However, if I close on of the windows, all of them close and the command gets aborted (which is fine).

Either: Forbid me to open the commit window more than once.
Or: Don't close all of them when I try to close the redundant ones.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Make a change
  2. Add modified / new
  3. Trigger commit command
  4. Repeat step 3 n times
  5. Try to close one of the windows

MAC OS X btw.
