using split-diff when atom project root dir is not equal to git root #732

When atom project root dir is not equal to git root, and use Split-diif option was used, then there is an error

Steps to reproduce:

some git repos
open in atom some child folder from that repos
use split-diff option in git-plus package
invoke git plus: diff
