Hi,

For many users the = sign can no longer be used in project names. Is it possible to change to another sign i.e ---

It's entirely plausible to change it.

I don't use Todoist anymore, and so this code has been languishing. Does it still work? Part of why I stopped updating this project is that the API would spontaneously change with no warning and no good list of changes.

I spoke with Todoist tech support, apparently = was removed as a valid character in Project names for reasons of "cross-platform compatibility". [I've still got projects with it in, but if you try to create a new Project or change the name of an existing Project then the = is converted to a _] They explicitly said that they have no problem with this App, the breakage was unintentional, though won't be reversed.

So moving to a new set of characters to indicate serial vs. parallel makes sense.

I was going to have a stab at fixing all this and moving to the v6 API, but looks like @nikdoof has already done this.

@akramer - could nikdoof's version be collapsed down? It is very configurable (good, in case things change in future), and uses the Todoist python library (might help avoid future breakages?).

I've tried my best to make it clear that @nikdoof's repo should be used. :) 👍
