Summary

In #1786, we discussed issues with RDM topics getting in different guides.

Here is a Proposition: for each RDM chapter , write/copy-paste a planning subchapter and an implementation subchapter, put them In the different guides, make sure they reference each other. Also look for each element if there is another subchapter that would go into a different guide (and add reference links).

list of chapters are at https://miro.com/welcomeonboard/VzN5R3NNMkhvU2R6czZGbEFXNDZTWEhGSzNaQWdFbjhzcTM3NU9Ya1QyMEFWa0RJQzRUT0dSVWZoZFA2MVVRMnwzMDc0NDU3MzY4MTI2NDQ5ODY4?share_link_id=265757738295

Plus give the possibility to have it all one after the other in a different book pathway using https://deploy-preview-2246--the-turing-way.netlify.app/welcome.html#different-pathways . (We could also probably make an extra guide, that might be easier to do ?) see #2071

This would require a large reorganisation of the content, probably some extra writing and a lot of reference links to add.

What needs to be done?

  • create subchapters
  • cut-paste existing content
  • write introduction in each subschapter, adding links
  • indicate prerequisite and level for each subchapters, (maybe other needed tags)
  • include a pathway (automatic creation) and/or guide (including chapters in a different orders)

Who can help?

Updates

Since that is quite a lot of work and will have quite a large influence on the book, it would be good to discuss it before starting the move. (does it has implication on translations?)
