Creating a new issue regarding #18 since this affects both the AkBank and AkEvent nodes.

Right now this is an issue with Godot as it was confirmed here: godotengine/godot#23103
The most painless workaround for now is to simply restart the editor. Will update this issue if things change.

This is no longer an issue in the 4.2 integration.
