Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The desktop app has great usability features such as autocomplete which automatically also select the project, prev and next buttons for quickly selecting time, etc. I really like that and it makes it easier for me to create new entries.

In the mobile app or the web app, I find it difficult to add new time entries, especially if I am on the go and doing it retrospectively (rather than starting a new timer for my current activity). I have to select the project manually, there is no autocomplete assist making it prone to accidentally create a new kind of entry (ie. "Research" vs "research"). TogglTrack app has nice accessibility assists with autocomplete that makes this typing task easier for creating entries. It would be great to see this in timing as well!

Describe the solution you'd like
In the new time entry screen:

  • Move project selection to the top
  • For Title, add autocomplete or ability to select from existing entries
  • Add prev and next buttons for easily selecting time, like in the desktop app.
  • (More effort) Add a Siri integration. See TickTick Siri Integration
  • (More effort) Add widget capability or expose an iOS Intent so that the user can add their own automations via the Shortcuts app.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Included all above.

Additional context
I am usually creating time entries retrospectively for what I did in the last X minutes, rather than using timer and starting a new task for what I will do in the next X minutes.

Thanks for considering!

Hey @semihsezer, thanks a lot for raising this issue and I definitely see that there isa lot of room for improving the iOS app with native capabilities.
Unfortunately Zeit is only an unofficial third party client to "Timing" and currently I do not have the time to incorporate feature requests at the moment, which I am really sorry about. Maybe this will change when I have more free time again, but I cannot promise that.

As a workaround approach, I think it's already possible with the WebAPI to create Siri shortcuts by your own, see here: https://web.timingapp.com/docs/#introduction. Of course not as convenient as with a native application directly, but maybe this is something you can check out for now ?

Sorry, that I can give no better initial response to this issue. I would still keep it open to have it around if there is some potential development kicking off again.
