There is a bug in the current version of chrome that does not allow a ":" to be 
used as part of a TURN url. Therefore, I think it is a good idea to allow this 
so be configured (eg use a "+") and use ":" as the default.

I am happy to supply a patch if you are interested.

Sorry maybe I should clarify. I am talking about the usernames generated for 
the "TURN Server REST API" authentication scheme.

Thanks for suggestion. A new option will require lots of docs changes, so I'll 
do it myself.
