Stroke is a health problem that occurs when the blood supply to the brain is interrupted or completely stopped so that the brain tissue is deprived of oxygen and nutrients. As a result, in a matter of minutes, brain cells begin to die. This condition is classified as a serious illness and can endanger lives. Therefore, someone who had a stroke requires immediate medical attention. Prompt and appropriate help can reduce the risk of brain damage and other complications.
