Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
What happen if at the very last moment an attendee/responsible decides to change the name an email of an attendee? A nightmare to look where this ticket belongs to... and a problem in the registration :-/

Describe the solution you'd like
Probably one of the best solutions could be to "block" any change of any ticket before the conference starts. Like 3 days or 5 before (or even more)

Describe alternatives you've considered
I can't see any other alternative because basically the idea is to not accept any change after an specific date/time.

Hi @cougil ,
thanks for your suggestion. I think we could add a "disable/enable ticket transfer" toggle on the event page.

This could be useful for events that are required to send a list of attendees to the location (for access/security control) and for events that do not print badges on-site.

May I suggest https://github.com/alfio-event/alf.io-PI for the next edition? We are preparing a detailed how-to for setting up your own check-in stations and print badges on-site, see https://twitter.com/jugmilano/status/1117032023376433153

Hi @cbellone
Yes, that option I think it could work, because at the end it is a matter of "disabling changing a ticket". Then it would be even better then to be able to create a new ticket but not to change them.
Wow! Didn't knew the existence of alf.io-PI, we should try, of course! ;-) It could be great to check everything locally, that would be great to look at it! ;-) Please let me know any improvements about it. Best,
