  • Symfony version: 6.2
  • Algolia Search Bundle version: 6.0.1

Description

I can't install algolia/search-bundle on an existing Symfony 6.2 application due to version conflicts. algolia/search-bundle requires "doctrine/event-manager": "^1.1", but other standard Doctrine packages require doctrine/event-manager ^2.0

If I composer require algolia/search-bundle using the --with-all-dependencies flag, it installs successfully. The tree of dependencies for doctrine/event-manager is then:

$ ❯ composer depends doctrine/event-manager
algolia/search-bundle   6.0.1  requires doctrine/event-manager (^1.1)
doctrine/dbal           3.6.2  requires doctrine/event-manager (^1|^2)
doctrine/migrations     3.6.0  requires doctrine/event-manager (^1.2 || ^2.0)
doctrine/orm            2.14.3 requires doctrine/event-manager (^1.2 || ^2)
doctrine/persistence    3.1.4  requires doctrine/event-manager (^1 || ^2)
