Recently I found there is another implementation for this. Scheherazade/Lateef doesn’t making this variant work as localized form, instead, they used |
Here is my proposal for Damma alternate, based on Amiri Regular, and you can create alternative glyph for ۇ based on this. |

That looks not desirable. In a Uyghur book Köngül Arzusi printed in 1957 the filled damma looks as this: |
I think my glyph is still recognizable and fits well with Amiri’s design, so I’m keeping it until native readers complain. |
The letter ۇ has a special shape in Uyghur and Kazakh texts, in this case dammah looks like comma. But Amiri does not support this form when I specified these languages.
