That's a nice tutorial. It does make a few unnecessary steps though, like cleaning the database (this is performed automatically) and installing setuptools_scm (would be better to raise a bug with exact steps to reproduce).

I would prefer making an official tutorial - it won't bitrot, and can be corrected promptly.
