Dear all,

I am almost sure that this is the wrong place to report this... please guide me to the right place...

I used the merged pull request "https://github.com/franzhaas/altair" to create an html with tooltips.

Everything appeared to be great until, the HTML was copied to a network drive on windows... then tooltips got "garbled characters". when using Microsoft edge or chrome (firefox, still works)

I do belive that the file:///// at the beginning to the path to the HTML or edge itself is the problem...

After pressing shift + F5 (or just F5) the issue goes away.

When I reopen the file, the garbled character reappears, but once I press shift+F5 it gets fixed again... (for at least Chrome 120.0.6099.110 and Edge 120.0.2210.77 ).

Any hints what is wrong here?

Thanks
Franz
