In my configuration (3070ti, 14700KF) h264 encoding utilizes about 50% of GPU, the rest is taken by the game. On the other hand CPU is underloaded. The idea is to use CPU for encoding purposes, that in theory can improve perfomance and increase FPS on high end CPUs.
I haven't run any test to see if CPU is capable of encoding almost 4k (both eyes, 4k total width) h264 stream without significant latency or frame drops. One of the options is to use more lightweight codecs at the cost of increased network utilization, thanks to prevalence of 802.11ax that shouldn't be a problem
