Enhancement: Songs to play in background

I think it as an issue, when we play a song and as soon as I press the back button it stops. I feel it should still play in background as a service or something.
Should i work on this ?

The music player is implemented as a service. You can hit the home button and the music will still play. If I remember correctly the back button stopping the service is by design. However, with the updated SDK some things got broken (e.g.lock screen controls are not working).
