Could Amber be rendered as a visual graph?

If we can enforce certain separation between sequences with the right metadata... it be kinda cool to be able to see the flow of the amber script as a process flow graph.

E.g. often bash script are a series of different processes which may then merge together into one... e.g. run make script on each folder then a bash script to merge result into one folder.

I was looking at it more from a development and documentation perspective.

Kind of like how in GitHub actions you can have a graph showing how each script flows into the other.

But I guess it can help in debugging by making the script easier to grok. Especially if you can make a function that has clear input and outputs. Which would then allow for rendering it as a function block with setting in the front.

Which would make it more like node-red

That would be really nice indeed! I love this idea. I’d make it as a separate app in which you could modify such graph too and get a different Amber code as a result

I think that using the set -x method in bash you can get already that about what is happening.

Yeah. I see that more of a GUI feature of some companion app. I think that we can do it once Amber hits stable release
