We need a better way of keeping a pinned version of Syft up to date. After some discussion, it was agreed upon to have a periodic check that creates a PR when new versions of Syft are released.

A version of this is currently working; it has yet to be seen if there are more issues but I think it's done as much as possible for now. Can check this PR: #225
