What happened:
I'm running syft 0.97.1 on an image I have, and receive errors in the stdout.

What you expected to happen:
no error in the stdout only results.

Steps to reproduce the issue:
Unfortunately i can't share the image. i can share what i see in my stdout.
it seems to happen when it tries to read content of dll files, for example:

[0073] TRACE parsing file contents path=/XXX/policy.2.6.glib-sharp.dll
unhandled metadata table 38 File offset 0x396 cols 1

Anything else we need to know?:
if you need any additional details please let me know.

Environment:

  • Output of syft version: 0.97.1
  • OS (e.g: cat /etc/os-release or similar):
