[Feature Request] Formatting codes?

Not entirely sure about this one- but I think it would be nice to be able to add some formatting to chat when sending messages- maybe underlining text e.t.c. Just a speculation.

Wouldn't this be up to the server to handle, to some degree?
Most servers I've seen kick you if you have any dodgy characters in messages, so handling formatting on the client side is a no go I'd imagine. Client could support new codes though, that'd be awesome.

Well, of course the server would have to adopt to them just like they do with colour codes, but I was just suggesting the client to be able to display more customized text :D

Oh, and it'd also be great if they made the font more.. consistent in width

Yes- it could work just like custom colors- and with the extended character map available it shouldn't be too limited
