I think is a bit of a misconception-
If friends are selected in addition to a group (which they are a member of),
they will continue to have the right to view the profile item even if they are removed from that group.
--> Selecting a group is not the same as selecting the individual members

Of course, an automated preselection implies the need for an automated deselection in case a friend is no longer the member of a group that has been assigned the corresponding visibility property before and the friend has not been explicitly selected for that property before. But at present I think it is too much of an effort to integrate such a logic
