Steam Deck proton no mouselook

Description

When trying to play on steam deck using proton mouselook is completely non functional. The mouse works perfectly fine for menus, but will not allow you to look around.
I understand that Linux isn't 100% supported and the steam deck/steamOs definitely isn't supported, but I know multiple people who have tried playing on their steam decks and they've all run into this issue.
If anyone playing on Steam Deck on the most recent version has had any success please let me know.

How to reproduce

1. Install Vintage Story on a Steam Deck or potentially just a computer running steamOs.
2. Run game through Proton compatibility, I've tried all working versions of proton and they all have the same issue.
3. Boot into a game and attempt to move the camera through any mouse input whether it's, touchpad, touchscreen, joystick mouse, gyro or external mouse.

@Toboo I never tried running Windows version with Proton, but Steam Deck users can give Flatpak version of Vintage Story a try. You can find the full install and usage guide under this forum address:

Notorious problem with missing Mono libraries was dealt with recently and as of version 1.18.3, I couldn't find any server that would cause this game to crash. Make sure to follow the instructions in joining modded servers section.

The game directly supports Linux, you can run it without Proton, that might help. Also try the Flatpack package and mard's thread.

Since this issue is quite old, I will close it. If you still have problems, you can reopen it.
