I am running your IDE on Windows 7 x64 and unfortunately i get the following error, when i try to save my rb script. Thus i could not work any longer as i can not save my rb script any more.

arcadia
In a new version could you add a run command similar to Pycharm where i would be able to run my rb script inside IDE and not only in cmd?

Regards and thanks for arcadia IDE

Hi @asimakos,
can you give me your ruby and tcl/tk version

Ruby is downloaded from here, Ruby 2.2.6 (x64) but i am not sure about Tcl/Tk.
Running script from IDE would make it simply better than JetBrains RubyMine.

Thanks for your great IDE!

I was unable to reproduce the error. Can you send me the complete stack trace (before "rb_out c00392")?

As soon as i enter arcadia command i get the following error message
error_arcadia
My Ruby version is the following
ruby
So i can not run my rb script and at the same time edit my rb script inside arcadia as you can see clearly. I have to close firstly arcadia IDE and run afterwards via cmd the script. Afterwards open IDE again and close it to check my code for errors that is nervous and time consuming for someone. Building a simple run menu will definitely solve this problem and make it far better than Jetbrains RubyMine.

Regards and thanks for your promising IDE!

Hi asimakos,
the message is a warning and it isn't blocker.

There are three ways to run a ruby script in arcadia:

  1. "Run selected as ruby file" from main toolbar
    a1

  2. "Run selected as ruby file" from contextual menu
    a2

  3. by keyboard pressing "F5" on selected file in editor

Regards
Antonio
