Confusing directive naming and usage inside class #2581

It would really make code easier to read if:

  • Directives such as dropdown were called ui-dropdown or something prefixed, which is a recommended best practice
  • Usage inside class were discouraged in favour of separate attribute, where there is no confusion between Angular directive and a class used for styling (for which this directive is too easy to confuse).

@dmitriz you are right on both fronts. Usage of class was removed in 7512b93 (not released yet) and we've got another issue for prefixes so closing this one as a duplicate.
