Nested annotation regions

Often my users want to annotate regions within region. Right now the behavior to draw a new region within an existing first selects the larger parent region which interferes with the drawing. Is it possible to allow for drawing of nested regions? At the moment we have to draw the child annotation outside of the parent and drag it in.

This works, in fact, fine in "standard" Annotorious. But it's a known issue in the OpenSeadragon version... (I'm moving the issue to the AnnotoriousOSD repo.) I actually need this fixed myself in one of my day-job projects, i.e. should hopefully be able to resolve this soon.
