SUMMARY

Ansible documentation needs to be updated at the point when modules move out of core into collections. This should be mentioned in at least the following locations:

This needs to be timed for when this event happens in ansible/ansible.

I think also a README.md in https://github.com/ansible/ansible/tree/devel/lib/ansible/modules so people browsing there will see it

fwiw there is a kbase article for this now - https://access.redhat.com/solutions/5295121

Which basically says - search for the module in:

https://github.com/ansible/ansible/blob/devel/lib/ansible/config/ansible_builtin_runtime.yml
