Ansible executable on Windows machine to run playbooks as part of userdata in cloud environments. Any reason why this is not supported.

Thanks very much for your interest in Ansible. It sincerely means a lot to us.

Ansible Controller uses SSH (by default) to communicate with managed nodes. Windows is not supported controller node. It is a design decision.
