ExcelReaders no longer supports .xlsx: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/65254535/xlrd-biffh-xlrderror-excel-xlsx-file-not-supported

We need to either (1) change out .xlsx file to .xls or (2) maybe try a different package like #18 but not sure if that helps...
