Since the list of addons is taller than the window, I don't see relevant information that happens to be at the top.
I also feel like it's superfluous to see the list of skipped every time, though it could be useful occasionally.

By displaying only the addons that are being updated in the current session, the output would become clearer.
Also by the amount of flickering I believe skipped lines are also being redrawn, so it could be a performance improvement as well.

This cannot be easily implemented. Because listr does not provide a hide-tasks-dynamically option.

Thanks for the info, hopefully that can be added at some point.

How about an optional batch-update-size for instance? by setting an appropriate number, lower than the number of lines in the window, the console should be preserved for scrolling. There would be a tradeoff in some extra lines for formatting, and possibly some additional update time across pages, but I would appreciate not losing offscreen information.
