@stoiver , that's interesting, I'll have a look at that. So at the moment
anuga generates a .msh from a CSV dem. How do you get anuga to read an
externally generated mesh file? The same way as reading in an external
Manning roughness grid?

Perhaps we should look into using mesher, https://github.com/Chrismarsh/mesher as an alternative to using triangle to create mesh.
