I don’t think we should be taking this on for the time being. GIEs do not have support for Kubernetes, are complicated to setup, have not been working well for years in several managed Galaxy instances, and it looks like they will be superseded with InteractiveTools: galaxyproject/galaxy#7494 ( https://github.com/galaxyproject/galaxy/pull/7494|smart-link )

So I’d suggest we table this and revisit once ITs are operational within Galaxy.
