Postgres db as sink #458
Comments
Please add log errors if any. What are you experiencing? Does it work or not? |
@oscerd - I'm not getting any errors. Please let me know if I'm missing anything. Below are the steps that i performed.
|
if you run kamel logs salesforce-source-binding-db, what is inside? Did you install camel-k? |
Here are my steps and results. Am I missing anything? Thanks in advance!
|
the integration is not running, so nothing happens. Can you please add the logs of the camel-k operator pods? |
These are the below I have when I run the below command. I don't see any pod running. ➜ ` NAME READY REASON AGE
|
You need to enable a registry. Read the documentation on the camel website |
@oscerd - Finally, I was able to track the camel-k operator pod. I have the 'camel-k operator pod' running in 'default' namespace and my salesforce kameletbinding running in my 'salesfforce-test-ns' namespace.
Could you please let me know whether I need to have the camel-k operator running in my own namespace? For installation, I used the below command. I don't think installing in the default namespace is an issue. Thanks!
|
You need to have everything in the same namespace. |
@oscerd - Ohh... Thanks for confirming! I'm wondering since I have --cluster-setup in the below command, is it not kamel enabled at the cluster level (in the sense, kamel is available to all namespaces in the cluster)?

@oscerd - Could you please shed some light on the above? Sorry. I'm new to kamelet and looking for some help. Thanks in advance. |
The source is poll based. It should work every n seconds. I'm on PTO so I'm not able to check |
@oscerd - Thanks! I don't want to bother you on your PTO. Pls. reply once back and get few mins. Thanks! |
@oscerd - Hope you are back from your PTO. Could you please let me know where the setup/configuration for salesforce polling is?
` |
I'm not back yet, but please check the operator log and the integration pod log. |
When you are back, could you please check? I'm having this issue for a while and new to this area? Appreciate any help to troubleshoot. Or if you could provide some pointers that would be great. I don't see any error in the operator log. Below is what I see in the Events section when I run the below command.
` ` Thanks in advance! |
Also please add the 'kamel logs salesforce-source-binding' output if any. But mainly the operator logs. I don't have a Salesforce dev account to test with, but please add more informations. You're asking the same questions and I'm asking the same logs output multiple times |
Sorry. Missed to add the logs. I didn't find any useful info. in the log and that's why sent the output of cmd - |
[INFO] Downloading from central: https://repo.maven.apache.org/maven2/io/quarkus/quarkus-jaxb-deployment/1.13.0.Final/quarkus-jaxb-deployment-1.13.0.Final.jar |
Very sorry. The log file was too big and unable to send all the content. SO, removed few lines in the above log. I didn't find any [ERROR] or [WARN] or [FATAL] msgs in the log. Thanks! |
The integration is in error. So there must be something wrong. Btw please use camel-k 1.5.0 |
ok. Thanks. Will do. |
Hi,
Could anyone please help me?
I created the below Kameletbinding and it is not working.
I want to select all rows from Salesforce contact table and insert into postgreSQL.
I have source as Salesforce and sink as postgreSQL.
Can I use postgreSQL as sink? Is it supported?
Is there any issue with the below kameletbinding? Do I need to do anything additional? Thanks in advance!!
