That depends, which level is alert trend graph in? Application alert trend or All alert trend. IMO, I prefer two trend graph, after all application, instance/process, service are three related dimensions.

I assume the number is about throughput?

Obviously, We need to make trend charts for the three dimensions above

  1. The pure application level is hard to say, it is required or not.
  2. The application instance level is needed, by throughtput of all applications is a huge number. Or we just need alterting trend in this level.
  3. Service throughput (All) == Application thoughput (All) == Application instance throughput (All) . So when you design throughput trend, please be carefully what is your actual purpose of that trend charts.

I am closing this. The UI features are developing, and most are finished. Look forward @hanahmily to share us the exited 5.0 UI.
