Expected results

When I save a chart, the same colors should correspond to the same data values when I revisit the chart.

When I explore a chart from a dashboard, I want the same colors corresponding to the same data values as seen in the chart in the dashboard.

Actual results

Colors can sometimes be inconsistent.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a chart.
  2. Choose a color scheme.
  3. Make some changes that will remove a data value.
  4. Save the chart.
  5. Revisit the chart.
  6. New colors will be assigned to different data values.
