UbikLoadPack support (Bug 55167):
We would like to contribute to the core a feature (Help > Bug report bundle) to allow JMeter to automatically create a bundle of all necessary informations to report a bug.

We think it could be useful for users bug reports as you would automatically have all required information on JMeter configuration and logs.

Could this be a stand-alone application?

It seems out of scope for the JMeter application.

Not everyone will want to report bugs, so including the code in JMeter core would increase its size unnecessarily.

it could be but it seems to us it would be better if it is in the gui.
For example our plugin users sometime report bugs, with this feature except for a test case and some big notes everything is bundled in the generated zip.
It's much like generate heap dump.

This kind of feature is frequent in softwares and would be useful even for your support at Apache JMeter team.

Regarding size it should increase it by few bytes no ?

Thanks for patch, but after discussion on dev list, a patch outside of JMeter GUI would be more suitable.
