Cannot read property 'statusCode' of undefined #1115

When testing new api-catalogue feature, getting this error:

Exception while invoking method 'getApiStatus' TypeError: Cannot read property 'statusCode' of undefined

Pinging api backend with http://localhost host value causes this error.
