This is difficult to reproduce; You would need to fire autoOpen from the console, providing it the id of a template configured as fullscreen, then close that popup. The real life use case is when a fullscreen popup is actuated from the URL querystring.

This is resolved in v2.4. The solution was to make the popup behave as if it is not fullscreen when the end user has yet to interact with the page. This is caused by browser behavior intended to prevent exploitation of fullscreen functionality.
