The OPENBEXI Creative package (server side) comes with the OPENBEXI HTML Builder client, an embedded Tomcat 7 server, an embedded Hsqldb (SQL relational database engine), and a firefox browser.
Window (7, VISTA and XP) installation:

if you have downloaded OPENBEXICreative-5.0-windows-installer
You are ready to install the software by clicking on it from your desktop environment.
To complete the installation, just follow the instructions on screen.
Linux installation:
-------------------
About the Linux version, no installer is provided after the version 3.0.
To install 5.0 from linux, just follow the steps below:
cd ~
gunzip OPENBEXICreative5.0-linux.tar.gz
tar xvf OPENBEXICreative5.0-linux.tar
cd OPENBEXICreative5.0-linux
And start the OpenBEXI server:
nohup OPENBEXI_creative.sh &
Note:You may ask your administrator to start OpenBEXI at the boot.
After starting the Linux server, you can connect to OpenBEXI via any modern
browser and start creating web pages from any computer (Linux window, mac) connected to your network.
From your internet browser type the URL depending from where you are, like:
http://localhost:8282/openbexi.do (if you are starting an internet browser
from the box where you installed OpenBEXI)
http://<IP adress>:8282/openbexi.do ( IP adress of the box from where you installed OpenBEXI)
To get an IP adress from linux type ifconfig.
To get the best experience use the last version of Firefox or google Chrome
supporting HTML5 features. You can directly drag and drop images or XML/CSV
files supported by charts, DOJO grids, timelines from the web or your window
explorer to create your web pages.

OPEN OPENBEXI HTML Builder 5.0 (client side):

OPEN OPENBEXI HTML Builder is a WYSIWYG HTML editor that allows you to create and publish Web pages.
From your browser, you can create and save your WEB pages by clicking, resizing, updating, removing HTML elements where you want them to appear.

OPEN OPENBEXI HTML Builder works with Firefox 10+, Safari (Window version), Google Chrome, and IE9+.
The following features are available:
• The form widgets can be used to create grid, list, field set, filtered field, checkbox, combo box, text and submit button.
• The WYSIWYG graph editor allows to create nodes and edges.
• Two powerful text editors (DOJO Editor) can be used to create formatted text like MS word.
• The picture editor and media editor can be used to create and display video, audio or flash files.
• The text field editor, line editor, link editor, checkbox editor, list editor, clock editor, calendar, box editor and button editor are available to design complex Web pages.
• The SIMILE editor allows you to create timeline.
• The fisheyes editor from DOJO allows you to create Mac style menu.
• The chart editor from jfree allows you to create pie, bar and line chart.
• The tree editor allows you to create dojo tree.
• The dygraphs editor allows you to create dynamic charts (new in 4.1).
• The jsplumb editor allows you to create dynamic chartflow (new in 4.1).
• Provide WYSIWYG interface to enable experimental real-time communications in Web browsers using jwebsocket (see http://jwebsocket.org/).
• Provide XML,JSON, CSS editors to implement and attach widget data (using CodeMirror).

A powerful OPEN OPENBEXI inspector allows you to update CSS style and link your HTML object to URL, Javascript functions and PHP.

OPEN OPENBEXI creative is the server side of OPEN BEXI and works with the client side: OPEN OPENBEXI HTML Builder 5.0.
OPENBEXI creative provides a full WEB 2.0 experience from any local and remote OPEN BEXI servers.
The version 5.0 has a powerful media and navigator editor. OPENBEXI creative offers a complete java integration pack for java with Tomcat 7 embedded supporting websocket, Hsqldb embedded and firefox.

You can dynamically publish your Web page to your domain name provider if he supports SSH FTP or SFTP.
Major and minor bugs have been fixed in this version.
