Currently running into the problem that simple lightbox doesn't work any more on my online development server.

The local machine works fine and should be almost identically to the online server. The only difference of these two instances is the fact, that the html code shows "data-slb-internal=0" instead of a correct number like in the working local installation.

Could this be the problem and how to fix?

Can't post the Website cause it's a development server. Sorry. Just know that the plugin worked and stopped. The only difference is the data slb internal 0 instead of correct ids which looks wirred

data-slb-internal=0 alone would not cause SLB to stop working. Are the servers (dev and local) mirrored in any way? You mentioned that they should be almost identical- how are you migrating data/files from one to the other. May have something to do with a discrepancy between the two servers, especially if you're moving the DB from one to the other.
