Expected behaviour

Archivematica supports MySQL 8.

Current behaviour

Archivematica 1.14.1 uses Django 1.11 which only supports MySQL 5.5.x - 5.7.x. MySQL 8 and later aren’t supported. MySQL 5.7.x reaches EOL next October.

Once #1279 is addressed we'll be able to move to MySQL 8.

Your environment (version of Archivematica, operating system, other relevant details)

Archivematica 1.14.1
