Hi I've been using the app happily for a few months and have two suggestions related to UI / usability:

  1. The Home dashboard items show up in different order at different times. I've got five buttons on my Home screen, and on any given day the one I use most shows up either at the top or second from the bottom. I'm unaware of anything that could explain the moving around - I don't think that the zway server was restarted during that time. It would be great if I could fix the order based on app preferences, or at least know what affects it.

  2. One of the buttons is to open my garage door, so obviously I'd like to be able to press it while driving. The small slider makes it difficult to do this without putting my full attention on the screen. It would be great if the app offered an option for a larger button widget, especially since there is a very large amount of unused white space. Personally I'd be happy if the entire switch panel would be a touch target. As it is now, touching anywhere near but not exactly on the slider takes the app to an Event Log screen which is useless and not of interest.

@mjsambol thank you so much for your feedback. It's the only way the app gets better!

  1. I will look into this. My assumption was that the order is decided by the Zway-server. If you say the order gets moved around then there's something I'm not accounting for. I'll look into it.

  2. I totally agree. I'll see what I can do about it.
