I updated to the nightly build 3 Aug 23 (using so I could use the 5GHz as my mesh IF and the 2.5GHz as my WAN IF. The UI shows everything working, but it will not connect to any 2.4GHz SSID. Revert back to stable build and seems to be working again (but WAN an 5Ghz and Mesh on 2). aredn-20230722-7c158ea-ath79-mikrotik-mikrotik_routerboard-952ui-5ac2nd-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin was the nightly build in question.
it appears that the /etc/config/wireless file for WAN is not being updated
will attempt to manually change it and see if it connects
Manually fixing both /etc/config/wireless and /etc/config/network seems to get everything working. wireless is missing the following options, network, mode, ssid, encryption and key. also radio 0 is flagged disabled. /etc/config/network has both mesh and wan using the same wlan interface. changing the wan if to the correct wlan interface has both the gui and network functioning properly.
Additionally any network changes made in the web UI breaks everything again.... otherwise the manual changes survive reboot.
