Profile initial page load

Can and should be faster. Probably just want to fetch a single row for the initial page load, then take it over from there. We don't have an offset param so this might prove annoying or we can refetch the first page.

Another minor optimization while we're there would be to adjust the per param to match the actual browser row-width for even loading. Might be tricky but seems feasible.
