How can i run the extension code in my localhost

Hi i have cloned the repo im trying to run the extension in my localhost can anyone explain what are the values needs to be added in .env file and when i run npm run dev command in extension folder im getting 426 error in my browser why is that can anyone give a detailed explanation of how can i run the extension in localhost.
