Summary

The images for the containers spec are exposed, but not init-container. Any and all init-containers are missing from the dashboard display

Use Cases

Our init container spec tracks a custom built container. This container is used to pre-seed an nginx pod with static assets before the long running services start up. It is important that the init-container and the app container of the same version stay in sync. If I were to update only the container image for the application container in the GUI, the init-container is left untouched and the wrong static assets could be deployed during the rollout.
