The issue actually is with AWS Java SDK v1 which does not support reading named profiles from ~/.aws/config.

v2 has the support.

Will have to consider if in the meantime vegas-credentials could support ~/.aws/credentials file for named profiles via flag.

Seems that assigning full path to vegas-credentials command fixes this issue for Redshift JDBC driver. Closing for now.
