Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

We, as members of the JavaScript Community, pledge to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone, regardless of background or skill level. We are committed to promoting a supportive and respectful culture.

Our Standards

  • Be Respectful: Treat everyone with respect, kindness, and empathy.
  • Be Open-Minded: Embrace diversity and be open to different viewpoints and ideas.
  • Be Helpful: Offer help to others, especially those who are new to the community.
  • Be Considerate: Think about how your words and actions affect others around you.

Our Responsibilities

Community maintainers are responsible for clarifying these standards and are expected to take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any instances of unacceptable behavior.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all community spaces, including GitHub discussions, social media, and any other forums the community uses for communication.

Enforcement

Unacceptable behavior can be reported to the community leaders responsible for enforcement. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in action deemed necessary and appropriate by the community leaders, up to and including expulsion from the community.
